The Hastings Region is a highly sought-after place to live and as with most regional towns, finding the job you want, let alone a job, is often tricky. It requires some creative thinking, not just on how to apply, but also the type of work that might suit your skills set.

Some residents do travel extensively for work, some commute weekly or even daily to Newcastle/ Kempsey/ Taree and some even as far as Sydney.

If you are able to set up a home office, there may be opportunities to work remotely. It’s flexibility and adaptability that will make or break the transition to a regional community.
