Have you forgotten something?

Until you need one, you don’t think you want one, you really can’t see the point-or maybe make the time to get one? Then “that” dream job you’ve always wanted suddenly gets advertised and you’d like to apply …and you begin to panic- it’s a mad rush and race to get one done!  You’ve forgotten your resume! Sound familiar?

It may be years since you last formally applied for a job or it may be that in the past, you have always been “tapped on shoulder” for work.

Now they want your resume and sadly, you have neglected to keep one that is current, and most importantly, you haven’t been maintaining a record of your jobs; promotions and added skills, education and training etc.

Even if you are in small business and even if you have NEVER had a group certificate, you need to have a record or a PROFILE that you can utilize in your marketing and on-line presence.

I highly recommend that you consistently update your resume so that at a moment’s notice you can produce it. If you don’t know where to start then the next best scenario is to have one professionally done. YES call for help – and  NEVER caught chasing one, or leaving home without one ever again.
