The Club is seeking an enthusiastic Operations Manager to join the team and assist the Secretary Manager in the management of the Club’s operations and building on its success!

Reporting directly to the Secretary Manager
and supported by an Assistant Operations Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join a Club firmly focused on future growth and development. As Operations Manager you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the day to day business operations of our great community-based Club, including all aspects relating to Food, Beverage, Gaming, Staffing, Functions and Entertainment.

The successful candidate will lead and mentor direct reports and frontline staff to achieve operational and strategic objectives, whilst ensuring legislative and regulatory compliance across all operational areas.

You will also be a ‘people person’, able to effectively engage with our team, our members and our guests, to ensure the Club’s ongoing success!

Essential Requirements:

  • At least one (1) years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Outstanding people skills with an extremely strong focus on Customer Service
  • Proven experience in a team environment
  • Confidence with a self motivating and reliable attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly developed leadership and staff management skills including proven ability to manage cultural change and improve work force productivity
  • Proven ability to manage a large and complex workload and determine business priorities
  • Exceptional presentation and grooming
  • Current RSA & RCG Certificates
  • Availability to work a rotating roster

Desirable Requirements:

  • Relevant management qualifications at tertiary level or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge membership & gaming management systems
  • Working knowledge of related POS and inventory management systems
