Exciting new role has just been released! Based in Port Macquarie, this role offers variety with regular short duration travel nationally (and occasional internationally).
The role identifies opportunities, develops ongoing relationships and generates opportunities to bid, supporting bidders to produce informed and competitive proposals. It interfaces with clients, the sales team/Global Products Manager for solution development and the bid/client team on bids.
This pivital role means that you will be vital in:-
• Contributing to strategy
• Communicating to wider BD progress
• Prospecting for clients
• Identifying general opportunities
• Developing ideas/market solutions
• Creating meetings & front conferences and opportunities to bid
• Attending pre-bid meetings
• Identifying specific bid hooks and Bid introduction
• Follow up bids & close deals
• Providing input to Ops on likely outcomes
• Identifying up-sell opportunities
• Working on repeat business and maintaining relationships
You will be the face of the business and someone who has had vast experience initiating projects; ablity to resolve issues and problems with advanced communication and interpersonal skills. Ideally a background and deep understanding of the Utilities industry would be beneficial.
