VACANCY CLOSED Seeking a very experienced Purchasing Officer for a major wholesale distribution company in Port Macquarie. This is a full time, permanent role with a very progressive and iconic company.
This pivotal role involves receipting food and packaging products, ranging from toothpicks to Lobsters and over 4,000 dry, frozen and chilled products. You will also be responsible for managing a few staff and all the stock take duties.
to be successful in this role you will need
- previous experience in purchasing within the distribution industry
- knowledge of various software in-house or other within stock take
- sound computer skills
- excellent interpersonal & communication skills
