VINEYARD MANAGER
THE ROLE – Dynamic opportunity to work within a traditional industry in the Hunter Valley to manage and produce quality fruit to be processed and marketed as wine under the companies label with the added and exciting opportunity to learn about, operate with, and become intimate with current issues that are facing viticultural and agricultural industries.
Initially you would be working within an existing program, but with time, and as you prove your capabilities and knowledge there is the exciting opportunity to put your own stamp on operations and management, to implement change and improvements, and to personalise the operations with your influence and guidance. There will be opportunity to grow into other associated roles within the wine operation with this company.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY –
- Implement management plans and timely work schedules.
- All aspects of vine and fruit management including, irrigation, pest and disease control, harvesting including mechanical and some hand harvesting.
- Machinery and infrastructure operation and maintenance.
- Trial management and monitoring.
- Manage seasonal workforce and implement HSE guidelines.
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE –
- Good communication skills
- Accurate record keeping experience and computer literacy
- Practical vineyard experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Viticulture/Horticulture
- Chemical users accreditation
- Attention to detail
