Our client, a leading establishment within Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of NSW, currently requires an exceptional Executive Chef, to join this market leader.
Working within this leading hospitality venue and fine dining restaurant, you will be responsible for ongoing success of this busy and highly acclaimed venue, along with mentoring its dedicated team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff.
The successful applicant in addition will oversee the whole catering experience for its customers and guests, along with managing a team of up to 20 staff and have the ability to make change and develop new ideas to create a truly unique dining experience. You will manage and create seasonal menus, as well as the ability and experience of managing large functions.as required. You will mentor other chefs and engage them in adding value and excellence to the venue and its cuisine,
Candidates will be highly organised, have a minimum of 5+ years experience as a Head Chef/ Exec Chef, be trade qualified and posses a strong passion for food and culinary excellence. Strong interpersonal style and staff management are crucial in being successful in the role
